After three years of war, more that 70 000 soldiers and civilians are missing in Ukraine. Vanished in the infernos of Marioupol and Bakhmut, or taken at dawn in Russian-occupied zones- what they all have in common is this: it is always women- their mothers, wives, daughters- who search for them.

This documentary will follow women in search of their husbands or sons, either a few weeks after their disappearance or decades later, as they relentlessly strive to find their loved ones’ whereabouts.

These unwavering bonds of love will offer a different perspective on war, a kind of “female gaze” rarely explored before.

This 70 minutes documentary follows their tireless fight against oblivion.
