War & Lies: The Human Toll of Disinformation brings together organizations and journalists from three countries to collectively explore the tangible consequences of disinformation and to strengthen journalists’ ability to produce responsible, verified reporting in conflict and post-conflict environments.

The project aims to document how disinformation impacts real lives – telling the stories of those whose existence has been disrupted or transformed by it.

Through collaborative work, tailored training, and personalized mentoring, participants will produce reports that combine human-centered storytelling with rigorous fact-checking, creating journalism capable of raising public awareness about the real and often deeply personal impact of fake news.
